BagelBytes is a community team founded in 2023 to give Bay Area high schoolers a way into STEM through the FIRST Robotics Competition. Students pick up real skills in design, engineering, and programming — and build lasting friendships along the way.
FIRST — "For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology" — is a nonprofit advancing science, technology, engineering, and math. The FIRST Robotics Competition pairs the excitement of sport with the rigor of engineering: the ultimate Sport of the Mind.
As a community team, we welcome students from schools across the Bay Area, building a diverse environment where different perspectives meet to solve hard problems together.
