About Us

Our Story

BagelBytes is a community team that was founded in 2023 to provide high school students in the Bay Area an opportunity to participate in STEM through the First Robotics Competition. Students learn important career skills in design, engineering, and programming while also making meaningful connections with their peers.

About FIRST

FIRST, which means "For Inspiration and Recognition in Science and Technology," is a nonprofit organization that prepares young people by advancing science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM). FIRST Robotics Competition combines "the excitement of sport with the rigors of science and technology," to create "the ultimate Sport of the Mind."

As a community team, we welcome students from schools throughout the Bay Area, creating a diverse and collaborative environment where different perspectives come together to achieve common goals.
